Hey Guys,

Got some more builds for you today and we have 2 builds that are for the Rogue and Cleric. The Rogue build is a very decent PVP build. Although basic this build will give you decent damage and survival as well.

The actual Rogue build is for PVP and only uses 2 souls which are Assassin and Riftstalker. The point allocation is Assassin (34) and Rift Stalker (29).

The main thing about these builds is the fact that they are working well with the 1.6 patch!

If you want a good Cleric PVE Build then this one will help you.

This build is an Inquisitor, Cabalist, Sentinel build and will give you a solid levelling build for Cleric.

Although Cleric is not my number 1 calling this one is a solid build and of course you can tweak it if you feel you need too…

However if you are looking for a solid build for levelling this one should help you and is working very well with the 1.6 build:

Rift Mage Build For 1.6 - Awesome PVP Build For 1.6

This build is for the Mage and is an updated 1.6 build. So far on this blog you will find an updated Rogue build for 1.6, Warrior PVE and PVP build and then this Mage Build for 1.6 as well.

The 1.6 patch has changed many things in the game but having tested out the builds we have come up with the best that work really well and will help you dominate.

So this Mage PVP build is a Dominator, Archmage, Pyromancer build and the reason it works so well for PVP is because you have so many skills from each soul tree to make it well rounded.

Rift Warrior Build For 1.6 - Excellent Tanking Build!

In this post I will be giving you a good Rift Warrior build for patch 1.6! This build is fairly basic but it works well as you will get a decent amount of damage output and also have excellent healing so it works well for both PVE and PVP.

The actual build is just using 2 of the available souls but in doing this it means that we can fully use the Paladin Soul for Damage output and the Reaver soul for healing.

Rift Rogue PVP Build For 1.6 - Awesome Build For 1.6!

In this post I am going to give you a build that you can use in the new Rift patch 1.6 for PVP with the Rogue. There have been a few changes to the game and it can be tough trying to figure out the best build to use.

This one is actually a Assassin, RiftStalker, Infiltrator Build so it is fairly adaptable. If you are looking for a solid build for patch 1.6 then you need to check out this one...

Rift Rogue DPS Build For 1.5 – Excellent Build To Use For PVE And PVP With The Rogue!

Hey guys,

Been a while since I updated so I thought I would do you another video that shows a solid build that you can use in patch 1.5 for the Rogue. Now patch 1.6 is taking so long I thought it was about time!

However that said, you can use this Rift Rogue build in 1.6 because it should have all changes taken into account. It is a slightly complicated build that is more focused on speed of attack and healing. 

For what it lacks in damage you should be able to take on a few mobs at the same time with this build.

The actual build is a Bladedancer (33), Nightblade (18) and RiftStalker (15) build with the main soul being Bladedancer and the other 2 souls are just picked out for the healing and a few choice skills that they have!

All in all it is a solid build so if you are looking for a very good PVE build or want to try this with PVP you should do well!

Best Rift Guide - Best Guide For Leveling And Builds?

If you have found your way here because you are looking for some good builds that have been updated for 1.5 then this blog will help you out as of course you can find some builds but if you are looking for the latest builds and of course how you can use the Planar Attunement system once you have got to level 50!

The truth is that the only way you are going to find all of the information you need is to either frequent the forums and know someone enough so they will reveal all of their secrets!

The only other way that you can make sure you get the best builds is to check out a top blog like the Ultimate Rift Guide blog...

Best Rift Builds - Rift PVP Builds For 1.5!

Welcome to another blog post and the reason I am updating today is because I have some more builds that will help you out as we get ready for the 1.5 patch. Now most people have been through the game and are focused on PVP so I decided to do some more builds that focus on the PVP side of the game but of course if you need to level up you can check out my YouTube channel for more leveling builds.

If you are looking to dominate in Rift then you need to make sure that you have a good build! Here is my latest Rift Rogue build and it is actually a good DPS build that will be better for damage:




Obviously if you want to level fast in Rift or dominate PVP a HUGE part of that is making sure that you have the top builds.

If you want to play as a Rogue try out the build above because you can use it as a DPS build but also a PVE build as well as it has quite good damage and Rogues are better at taking on single targets!

If you are looking to level up fast on Rift and you are looking for a guide to help you than you cannot do much better than to check out Rift Supremacy. The reason for this is simple:

If you are looking to get further in Rift or at least stay up to date with all of the patches then you need to make sure that you level fast. Even if you are not trying to level fast it helps to get your character up to a decent level because of PVP etc...

One big debate is whether or not you need a Rift guide to help you do this?

Well you don't NEED a guide to help you level but it DOES help!

The problem is making sure that you get a good guide that will help you level fast and contain all the other information that you need!

The best guides contain FULL builds for all 4 callings and you need to make sure that they are updated for the latest patch. There are a few Rift guides out there but having looked through most of them we suggest that if you want to level fast and make sure that you can get to level cap that you check out Rift Supremacy.

The simple reason that this gets top marks is because it contains a full leveling guide for both Defiant and Guardian and more than this you get a full set of videos guide to go with the leveling guides and the builds guide!

The other thing that we liked about this guide is the fact that you get full videos showing off the builds and of course the builds are updated for the latest patch as well.

Thought I would update as the game has a new update albeit it not a huge one.

The game has updated to patch 1.4.1 and it is called the Half Birthday event although the game so far as the way it plays etc... with builds and so on has not changed that much.

One thing that I do like about Rift since it launched is the fact that they are sticking by their word and updating the game properly.

However what if you are stuck?

If you fell that oyu are not getting through the game quickly enough or that you have messed up your build then a good guide can do wonders and it will help you get to grips with the game again.

Rift Guide – A Look At What A Rift Leveling Guide Can (And Can’t!) Do For You!

Hey guys,

I hope you are enjoying the builds and they help you level up faster or dominate PVP and the raids depending on what you are using them for.

Today I wanted to talk about Rift guides and whether or not you should get one to help you with the game. In actual fact you don't strictly need a guide to be good at the game but if you don't get one you will have to put a lot of hours in.

So when you are looking for a good Rift leveling guide it is worth bearing in mind your play style and also how much time you can dedicate to the game.

However that said:

A GOOD Rift guide can really help with builds, macros and leveling up speed and it is awesome if you find that you want to change characters and level up quickly!

Here are some pointers of what a good Rift leveling guide should contain so you know that you are getting quality info:

Leveling guide for both Defiant and Guardian:

This goes without saying! You must make sure that there is a full leveling guide with maps and screenshots for both Defiant and Guardians. If you keep an eye out the best guides actually have videos with them!

Next up you need to make sure:

The guide has Builds and Specs as well as rotations and macros:

I have seen a few guides that will give you builds but leave out the rotations and macros that you need. So make sure you get a guide with everything included and a full guide for the builds for all 4 callings as well.

Free Updates:

Now this is where most guides fall down as they do not offer updates, and as Rift is changing all the time and a build that works well may not work well the next day you need to make sure that you get FREE updates!

Conclusion:

So Rift has updated to 1.4 and that means that a few things will change with the game. The most excited and sometimes annoying thing is that the builds change!

That means that you can have a good working build in 1.3 but if they start messing around with your souls in the game you might not be left with the strongest build!

I have made this Warrior DPS build which at the time of writing works very well with patch 1.4:

Almost Level 14 - Taking A While...

Hey guys,

Not had a huge amount of playtime but happy to say I am nearly level 14!

Now the thing that is dawning on me especially with the 1.3 Waves of Madness event in phase 2 now is the amount of Rift action going on...

It seems that it has been taken to an extreme!

Don't get me wrong I love it - but when you are in the middle of a quest it is annoying to see a Minor Rift pop up that is way above your level!

Here is my toon getting caught up in a minor Rift while questing:



Hoping to get to 14 - 20 pretty fast though!

Guess it just finding time to play - visit my YT channel for some awesome builds as well.

Level 13 - Got To The Guardian Capital And Been Inside "The Sanctum"

Hey guys,

OK, finally up to level 13 and now the quests move to the Guardian Capital City - this is also the first time you get to see "The Sanctum" since the start of the game.

If you remember at level 1 it is where you started and had to run down and out into the starting area?

For those that haven't seen it:



The other thing that happens is the quests REALLY start to branch out!

Up until now you have just had fairly linear quests but in the capital you will see all sorts of quests for leveling that you can do:

Standard quests, dailies and PVP quests.

If you are trying to get to level 50 as quickly as possible this is where a good Rift Leveling guide can really help.

If you are not in a rush then you will have to just make do with trial and error to find the quickest path through the game.

Also what you will see now is that the Rift 1.3 World Event has started!

From the Black Depths is the first phase and by taking part you can get special items in the game.

So you will also be able to start the World Event which is well worth doing!

Level 12 - Moving Up...

With limited playtime I am now level 12, which is not bad at all! Also one of the pros of the game is the Rift events but it makes it difficult to concentrate on questing.

You NEED to do the Rift invasions because you get access to some awesome items that you will not find anywhere else.

My build is coming on nicely as well!

Now up to Level 11 - Got caught up in an Invasion!

Still not a huge amount of progress but it is my fault (again!) - starting questing and am now up to level 11 but got caught up in the middle of an Invasion event and things starting to go wrong.

I got a little bit excited and without thinking ran headlong into battle until I realized that the mobs were level 18!

Well I made a video up showing what happened to me... as you can guess it was not too pretty:



This happened because they were level 18 and also I would of survived a bit better if I joined the public group.

All good though you get some nice drops for taking part in Rifts and Invasions.

So still going - not really going for speed leveling here just enjoying the game.

I best get my skates on though as the game is updating to Rift 1.3 on the 22nd June.

I also made a video of the leveling build that I am using for my Rogue but a couple of you asked for my PVP build - so I decided to make a video of a good PVP build you can use:



If you need a good Rogue PVP build that is a good one to use.

I will upload more builds and stuff but if you are in a hurry you should check out this Rift Builds guide for full set of leveling, raiding and PVP builds for all 4 callings.

Level 10 At Last!

Got up to level 10 and took part in my first Rift Invasion which was awesome, if you have played World of Warcraft then this is one of the main things of the game that makes Rift better in my opinion.

Here is my Rift Rogue build so far at level 10:



Also a couple of you have asked what my Rift build will look like at level 50. I decided to make a video up using the Rift Soul Calculator so you can see what it is going to look like:



Let me know what you think of the build and whether you would change anything?

Remember though it is for a solo leveling build.

Day 3 - Level 8 Not Much Progress...

Hey guys,

Not much progress of late but to be fair I have not put as much time as I wanted to in my journey through Telara!

I have dinged level 8 though here is a video of me doing that:



Also you will see that I have a title as well in the video "Dravic the Risen" well this is because I purchased the Collectors Edition of Rift.

Forgot to mention that last time out.

All of the little perks don't really do much to your character in the long run as with a bit of time you can pick most of the stuff up but it DOES help when you are starting out.

Also as we level one of the most important things is the build that you use.

I am soloing pretty much although the public group for Rifts and Invasions is cool.

It follows the Assassin tree pretty much and is fairly new at the minute as I am only level 9 but hope to mainly follow Assassin.

Another post coming shortly and with my next play time I hope to hit level 10...

Day 2 - Dinging Level 7 Also Showing Off My Bonus Turtle & Boglin!

Hey guys,

So Day 2 not done an awful much due to time constraints but what I HAVE done has been awesome!

First thing I notice about Rift compared to WOW is that it is so much more fast paced.

Well World of Warcraft started off like that ands then when you got to level 20 - 30 there was nothing to do but quest that would be collect this, drop it off here, collect XP rinse and repeat.

OK, so I have ONLY dinging level 7 but that is only with about 40 mins game play!

I am using the Rift Rogue leveling build from Rift Supremacy and it seems to be awesome as I am able to kill level 9 mobs quite easily!

Before I got to level 7 there was an awesome quest called A Dim Dark Eye:

It is actually the final quest for the Guardian Starting zone so make sure that you complete all other quests and hand them in before you complete this one as you are about to be - well I won't ruin it for you but something happens!

You then go through to the Forest on the other side but something has happened....

Like I say I won't ruin it!

Not got much time to start this now but will be updating shortly with more!

What I did do however is get the Bogling Wastrel and the Tartagon Turtle mounts as they has still been in my bag.

To get these you need to purchase the Rift Collectors Edition Download and then you will get the benefits above.

Worth doing because you start the game with a 12 slot bag this way.

Will keep you posted but looks like the fun is about to begin!

Day 1 – Started new Rogue and my journey through Telara!

So the journey has started – what I am going to do with this blog is show you my journey through Telara so you can join me or use some of the information for your builds and so on.

At the very start of the game it is nice and easy and the area is just a starting area.
In fact the game reminds me at the start of Wrath of the Lich King at the start in WOW – it has those tall knight enemies.

Unfortunately my computer is in dire need of a graphics update so having to make do at the minute with the graphics being set to really low but that is cool as the framerate is high!

Here’s a pic of me seeing away one of those knights:



The build I am using is actually a build from Rift Supremacy for the Rogue and it is a leveling build so it should speed me thorough!

Basically it is an Assassin build primarily and then going to keep jumping between Assassin and Bladedancer which will make it awesome for leveling in Rift.
Got to level 5 really fast!

Here I am completing the Brood of Regulos Rift Quest:



Also completing the Fields Ran Red quest as well.

My Journey Through Telara

Welcome to my blog.

I have decided to make this blog to show you my leveling through Telara as a Guardian and maybe Defiant as well.

You will be able to see my builds, PVP, raiding all that good stuff but mostly it will be showcasing my leveling through the game.
